The two things in this world that speak straight to my heart are babies and photography. I love when I get to combine them!
Meet sweet Baby M, nine days old in these shots. Congratulations to Mom, Dad, and big brother! Oh, and welcome to the world, Baby M!

She finally graduated!
Riley Megan graduated from swim lessons with Mrs. Logan (who we love, by the way), and swam in her first meet with swim club!! It's very important for a girl to coordinate...suit, cap, even gatorade!
What this photo doesn't show is the false start...she jumped in at one end when her team mate jumped in on the first leg of the relay at the other end! She had to quick jump back out and wait for her turn. Too cute.
I really don't know what to say about this. I should be more concerned about modesty, yes - but for some reason it just cracks me up!
She was ALL business, ALL the time. She loved it and I have a feeling we'll be watching her swim for years to come. Bring it on!!

Listen Mommy!
Listen Mommy! God is talking in the trees!
It's a breezy, warm, sunny spring afternoon in Indiana. It's perfect. A little creek winds around the border of our propery on 2 sides and there are many, many trees along the banks. Days like this you can feel a bit lazy watching them sway in the breeze and listening to the rustling.
Riley stopped her playing long enough to tell me to listen - because God was talking in the trees. She then went on to explain that He had a lot to say today. As a matter of fact, He had a lot to say yesterday too, but not at recess. He was quiet at recess at school.
I Kings 19
11 The Lord said "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by." Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.13 When Elijah heard it he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.
